That was my story too.
I had a PhD in my own story. I spent years treating myself as a problem to be solved. I spent decades talking and understanding. I even did years of body based practices feeling my feelings, releasing, and regulating. But something was still missing.
The shift was learning to listen to my body and understand what my body was saying to me. ​ By deeply listening to my body, I learned my emotions are not problems needing to be fixed or energy needing to be released, but are a way my body was speaking to me about needs.
The more I listened, the more I could feel that my the needs were coming from parts of me - parts of me stored in my body as a pattern stuck in a time that I needed something, and it was not received.

And I could feel these parts of me were repeating in my life only because they were trying to complete a story of a time I needed to be seen, to be heard, to be protected, to be safe, to be allowed, to be accepted, to be understood, and. . . to be LOVED.
In time, I created a way to meet my own needs in a way I could feel in my body. As I did, my patterns began to rapidly heal.

My defenses melted. I became less reactive. Most of my triggers went away. My sadness lifted. I started to feel lighter. I found my joy again.

This way of responding to my needs in a way I could feel in my body was the answer for me. Over 10 years, I turned it into a method I call Ishtara.
Ishtara is a method that completes your patterns at the source: the body. ​​It takes a few weeks to learn. Once you do , you have a method for life that you can use to heal yourself.
